What a total delight meeting one of my favorite designers @rebeccaminkoff at @the.wing today! I loooove her bags (have too many to count 💁🏻‍♀️) and meeting the woman behind the vision was just wow. So much talent and style! But I was most struck by her warmth and kindness... so down to earth, even tho she lives in fashion’s uber luxe stratosphere! Meeting a legend in your field is a surreal experience. You’ve read so much about them that you can’t believe they’re made of the same stuff as the rest of us. And yet they are. Today I met Deepak Chopra, one of my heroes in medicine. A doctor who broke through so many boundaries to bring meditation to the masses long before it was the hip thing to do. He paved the way for a new breed of doctors, and opened up our worldview.
